Cerridwyn Len'Ias is a wood elf death cleric, and my latest D&D character. My concept for her was that her job is to go to battlegrounds and the like burying and saying rites for the fallen, as well as returning their belongings and consoling their families. If she found injured soldiers on said battlefield and they were maimed so badly that they would never recover she would end their suffering. If it was within her power to heal she would do so.
So I was looking for a neutral or good death god. Unfortunately, in all of the fantasy pantheons of the Forgotten Realms, Greyhawk, Eberron and Dragonlance, I had trouble finding one that wasn't evil and fit the concept. So She follows a god out of Welsh mythology, Arawn. He is a god of life and death, the King of the Otherworld, and is known for sending his hounds to guide the spirits of the dead to his realm, dragging them if they have to.
